Consumer Rights Protection Centre informs – Enrique Iglesias is cancelled

Consumer Rights Protection Centre (CRPC) informs that according to announcement by ticket seller “Biļešu serviss” event of Enrique Iglesias All the Hits Live that was planned on 5th of December in Arena Riga is cancelled. In the official announcement by Creative Artists Agency, LLC to ticket seller it’s stated that due to breach of agreement signed between promoter ART BG - MENAGEMENT EOOD and representor of the artist Creative Artists Agency, LLC, the artist’s representatives are forced to cancel the planned events in Zagreb, Croatia (1st of December 2019), Minsk, Belarussia (3rd of December 2019) and Riga, Latvia (5th of December 2019). First of all, consumers are asked to contact the service provider. In this case there are two service providers - the promoter of the event – ART BG – MENAGEMENT EOOD and ticket seller “Biļešu serviss”, in order to get back the money paid for tickets. There is no specific form of the written application, but it should contain the information about the date and place of the ticket purchase, amount of tickets and the sum paid as well as request to return money. Consumers also have to add copies of the tickets and document of application for payment. In case service providers cannot pay back the money for purchased tickets partially or in full, consumers have rights to ask their card issuer (bank) to pay back the rest of the money. Those who used debit cards or credit cards to purchase the tickets, can try to get the money back from card issuer (bank), by suggesting chargeback.
